Job Summary:

The Legal Contract Assistant will be working within our legal department to provide support in the area of employment-related agreements. This process includes the coordination and maintenance of basic or routine contracts under direct guidance and supervision of the department’s attorneys and Legal Contract Specialist. This junior position will require interfacing with various leadership levels, and maintaining excellent business relationships with our hospitals. The ideal candidate will work independently, with little supervision and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


  • Heavy drafting, revision, and maintenance of employment contracts in a time sensitive environment.
  • Works closely with division leadership and hospital management to ensure timely execution of contracts, inquiries, and correspondents.
  • Assist with the drafting of severance agreements, covenants not to sue, and other legal documents.


  • Prior contract drafting experience, legal contract drafting preferred
  • At least 2 years of data entry or similar work experience
  • Ability to type 65 words per minute
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and data entry
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, organized professional with ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
