An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our Medivet Tilbury practice as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon!

The Role

Medivet Tilbury is a small friendly veterinary practice in the heart of the Tilbury town centre with close travel links to London and Lakeside shopping centre.

We are looking for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to run the practice and lead a team consisting of one Head Veterinary nurse (HRVN) and one Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN).

Being in a town centre, a friendly warm attitude and good customer service skills with our client (1500+ ) base is essential . Medivet Tilbury is a busy practice booked up with daily routine procedures including neutering and dentals. Confidence and experience in routine procedures is important. Medivet Tilbury also offers a first opinion service as well as access to CT scans, endoscopy and X rays at our Medivet 24hour Southend Hospital.

The practice also receives regular charity referrals and we work closely with local feline rescue charities. We are also a proud participant in the charity C4 Cat neutering scheme. So if you have a love for cats, that is a bonus! As we see lots of cats here.

Skills and Experience

You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with RCVS.

A minimum of 2 years experience working as a veterinary surgeon within UK.
