The Role

We are seeking a friendly dynamic Veterinary Surgeon to lead our small team at our Hellesdon branch in Norwich.

Medivet Hellesdon is currently a one-vet branch that is growing rapidly, we are therefore keen for the successfully candidate to continue this growth to realise its potential as a multi-vet branch.

The branch has the scope to offer tailored consulting blocks to suit someone with a specific interest in e.g. dermatology or ophthalmology. The role would suit someone with an interest in either Medicine or Surgery and includes the opportunity to use our new 24 hour Horsford Hospital. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a sole-charge environment, enjoys clinical freedom and is comfortable with most surgery. We are seeking an experienced Vet looking to progress in their career with plenty of help and advice available to support with your personal development.

Salary & Benefits:

Package up to £61,469 dependent on experience, to include:

-Very competitive salary

-£6,600 accommodation allowance per annum

-Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum

-£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum

-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum

– 4 day week plus weekend rota

– Branch Partnership opportunities

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

The Branch

Medivet Hellesdon is a thriving small animal practice in Norwich that has recently been refurbished and boasts a good sized reception, two consulting rooms, a large prep-area with dog and cat kennels, digital X-ray/imaging room and separate theatre. The practice is situated in a great location and works within a close-knit team of 3 Medivet branches.
