The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our friendly team. The role will involve being the sole nurse, overseeing stock control and maintaining the practice at a high standard. Some reception cover will be required and also operating with the sole vet on site. You will be expected to open up the branch as well as closing which will involve cashing up and also helping management with the month end. The role is Monday to Friday, 3 x 8 hour shifts and 2 x 6 hour shifts. We are looking to open Saturdays in the future. There is no on call.

About Us

Dragon Vets Kingsway is a fairly new addition to Dragon Vets since March 2019. It is fully equipped with a digital x-ray machine, dental machine and theatre. The Kingsway Branch is nestled in the local, busy community of Kingsway in Gloucester. We are a large team of vets, nurses and receptionists who are all friendly and supportive. We have 4 training practices which includes Kingsway. We actively encourage CPD and learning new skills such as working towards the diploma of advanced veterinary nursing.

Applicant Requirements

We are seeking an RVN with some experience working within a busy practice environment. You will be a team player eager to provide excellent patient and client care.
