National Veterinary Associates (www.nvaonline.com) is the largest private owner of free-standing veterinary hospitals and pet resorts in the United States. NVA currently owns over 1100 veterinary hospitals in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore over 100 Pet Resorts. NVA has grown rapidly and profitably every year since its inception in 1996.

NVA is currently in need of a Jr. Vendor Accounts Associate. The primary focus of this position will be to assist with and ensure a smooth accounting transition for all new NVA acquisitions.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Jr. Transition Accounting Associate include, but are not limited to:
• Update, create, and transfer ownership of vendor accounts

o Reach out to site vendors via phone and email

o Ensure that all account applications are complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner

o Ensure that billing information is changed to reflect new ownership
• Update and transfer ownership of utility accounts

o Work with third party partner to ensure smooth transition of utility accounts
• Confirm account transitions by communicating with Site Managers and internal teams

Qualifications

The successful candidate will:
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Have an upbeat phone presence
• Be able to quickly learn on the job
• Make adjustments to the current procedures as necessary to keep up with NVA’s growth
• Be detail-oriented
• Be competent and comfortable with technology

Requirements

Experience in a call center or administrative position is a plus.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. We also offer medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
