National Veterinary Associates (www.nvaonline.com) is the largest private owner of free-standing veterinary hospitals and pet resorts in the United States. NVA currently owns over 1100 veterinary hospitals in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore over 100 Pet Resorts. NVA has grown rapidly and profitably every year since its inception in 1996.

NVA is currently in need of a Jr. Financial Accounts Associate. The primary focus of this position will be to assist with and ensure a smooth accounting transition for all new NVA acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, have excellent customer service skills, take ownership and pride in their work, and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Jr. Financial Accounts Associate include, but are not limited to:
• Update and transfer ownership of merchant accounts

o Reach out to merchant vendors via phone and email

o Ensure that all applications are complete, accurate, and submitted on time

o Ensure that information is changed to reflect the new ownership

o Confirm merchant account transitions by communicating with Site Leaders and internal teams

Qualifications

The successful candidate will:
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Have a strong understanding of merchant services and finance
• Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality
• Be detail-oriented and a quick learner
• Be competent and comfortable with technology

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience in finance, credit and or merchant accounts is a plus.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. We also offer medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
