The New England Animal Medical Center (NEAMC), located in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts (30 miles south of Boston), is seeking a Locum/Relief or Part-Time Board Certified or Residency Trained Small Animal Internist to add to its team.

NEAMC has been in operation since 1975 and we are a multi-faceted teaching facility that includes a 24/7 ER as well as Board Certified Specialists in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology and we also have a 6-doctor General Practice. We currently have both residents (surgery and ECC) and interns within our hospital and value the continuing education of our doctors and staff members.

Our Internal Medicine team is responsible for seeing clinic appointments as new referrals and rechecks, in-house consultations between departments and performing diagnostic workups. The ability to perform diagnostic abdominal and thoracic ultrasounds is required, and the ability to perform echocardiograms is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and desire to help guide and mentor our residents and interns.

NEAMC includes advanced monitoring equipment, an in house, full-service lab (CBC/Chem/EPOC electrolytes, PT/PTT, blood typing and crossmatching), Newport Breeze ventilator, in house blood bank, temperature controlled oxygen cages, Storz video flexible and rigid endoscopy, color flow Doppler ultrasound, laparoscopy, dedicated chemotherapy room with hood, Idexx digital radiography and CT.
