Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center is seeking a passionate and driven board certified/board eligible small animal internist to join our team! We are a rapidly growing, 24-hour emergency and referral hospital located in beautiful Winchester, Virginia. Our mission is to serve our community and referring hospitals by providing quality emergency veterinary care to small animals one patient at a time! Because of our growth, we are ready to expand our services to include internal medicine. Our current team consists of 8 ER DVMs and an incredible support team of licensed veterinary technicians, assistants, receptionists and office staff.

This is the perfect opportunity to create and build an internal medicine department from the ground up. You will have no shortage of business as the closest hospital with internal medicine services is an hour away. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, great communication skills, a friendly and kind disposition, and a willingness to contribute to the continued success of the hospital.
