The Practice

• 1 hour North of Sydney, Wallsend Vet is located in Newcastle, Australia’s seventh largest city and home to home relaxing beaches, world-class wineries, a world heritage listed rainforest, and Australia’s largest saltwater lake
• Opportunity for those with a special interest in advanced orthopaedic surgery and procedures, ultrasonography, advanced dental treatment, digital radiology, and acupuncture and homeopathic care
• We also offer grooming services, cat boarding, and puppy pre-school along with dog obedience

The People

• Providing veterinary care to the Newcastle community for 40+ years, we have developed a strong client base
• Work with a strong team of skilled and experienced veterinarians, nurses, and support people

The Position

• Veterinarian with 4+ years experience (management experience strongly desired but not essential)
• BVsc or equivalent, and registration to practice in New South Wales
