The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Head Veterinary Nurse at our fantastic practice based in Yeading.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.

As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

This is a full time fixed term position (maternity cover for a minimum of 6 months), covering 40 hours a week over 5 days. This shift pattern includes 1:4 full weekends.

Competitive salary of up to £30,299 per annum, dependent on experience

Skills and Experience

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required.

The Branch

Medivet Yeading is a very busy, small animal first opinion practice which offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options, as well as access to laparoscopic spays, MRI and CT imaging. We need a dynamic and driven individual to take this practice to new heights!

We are fortunate to have a very loyal client base and our 2-3 vet team are therefore kept busy with an exciting range of surgeries and consults as well as providing home visits to pets in need.

The practice is situated on the outskirts of London, close to Heathrow, with easy access to the A40; you can be in the countryside, or in central London in under an hour.
