We are looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to manage the nursing team and liaise with our Clinical Director to ensure best practices are adhered to. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking and enthusiastic and someone who is keen to develop the skills of the nursing and reception team for the benefit of clients and staff. The role with involve organisation of the daily rotas, nurse and ANA training, drug and consumable ordering, upkeep of equipment, Health and Safety updates and the development of nurse consultations.
We are a first opinion practice ideally situated in West London with easy access to London and excellent transport links. We are a friendly forward looking team of three veterinary surgeons, three RVN's, 1 SVN and an ANA. We also have a dedicated reception team. As a Surgery we have been part of the local community for over 30 years and this is reflected in our loyal client base. We encourage our nurses to develop their full potential through nurse consultations, blood sampling and i/v fluid therapy set up and would encourage schedule 3 work where possible. We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi parameter anaesthetic monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have some years post qualification experience, be forward thinking and adaptable. You will have strong leadership abilities and be looking to develop a motivated nursing team. Clinical coach qualification or willingness to acquire as we are a RVN student training practice.
