Do you love all things exotic? From feathers to scales both large and small? We may have just the role for you! We are currently looking for a Small Animal and Exotics Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is a fulltime role working 40 hours a week a 6-week rota with 1 Saturday morning (8-12.30pm) and 1 full weekend (8-6pm/9-6pm) with time off in lieu. The hours worked in the week vary depending on business and rota requirements and you will work between our exotic branch and other branches in our group
Each day here at Manor is different, we have a large and varied case load. Each branch has consultations and surgical procedures during the morning and back to consultations in the evening. The nurses, on a rota system, will care for the inpatients, prepare, and assist with surgical procedures and support the consulting vets.

About Us

All our branches are around the Birmingham area and are a short drive to either the city centre or some beautiful rural areas. We offer an out of hours service from our Halesowen practice and have a dedicated night team. We have CT, MRI, endoscope, ultrasound, internal laboratory for biochemistry and haematology, K-laser, certificate holders in exotics, imaging, medicine, and surgery.
We like to think of our team as a work family- our 'Manor Family'. Many of the team who leave us often return to the 'family'. We have 25 Veterinary Surgeons, 23 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Student Veterinary Nurses and a full complement of support staff- both clinical and non-clinical. We like to support local charities and have carried out raffles, dress down days, bake sales, open days, and car washes to raise money for them and support the hard work that they do.
