Job Description

Fairfield Equine Associates, located in suburban Connecticut an hour outside New York City, seeks an equine surgeon with a strong interest in lameness to join our team.

We currently have one board certified surgeon and are looking to add another to accommodate our growing and diverse caseload . Must be boarded or have completed surgical residency training and have a strong desire to provide state-of-the-art care. The hospital is extremely well-equipped with the resources to excel in case work-up and diagnosis, including but not limited to a lameness exam arena, digital radiography, nuclear scintigraphy, a standing Hallmarq MRI, endoscopy, and digital ultrasound. The surgical facilities include a large surgical suite and 2 induction/recovery stalls. We have a 12-stall main clinic that features 3 treatment areas. Fairfield Equine is a full service and referral hospital and is known for its lameness and sport horse caseload.
