Retama Equine Hospital is in search of an enthusiastic, energetic hard working Surgeon to join our team of client minded practitioners. We are a busy five doctor emergency and referral hospital near San Antonio, Texas with a diverse and broad caseload across may different disciplines ranging from emergency medicine, orthopedics, sports medicine, soft tissue, dentistry, reproduction and race track. We are looking for someone who enjoys veterinary medicine, is a team player and has exceptional client relations. Three treatment areas, three ICU stalls, 20 hospital stalls, four isolation stalls and 16 paddocks. Well equipped for arthroscopy, laparoscopy and soft tissue surgeries, 2 DR’s, shockwave and Sound Smart RLT regenerative laser. We also offer chiropractic and acupuncture services.

Job requirements will include all aspects of veterinary surgery, sports medicine, emergency medicine, etc. Emergency duties are shared. Caseload will include ambulatory and hospitalized cases. Opportunity to train other veterinarians and lead client education for the practice. Must be at least board eligible and able to obtain Texas licensing.
