Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center is looking for a Criticalist (Boarded or Board Eligible) to join our growing team! Our 3-year-old 11,500 sqft building is nestled in the heart of beautiful Southern Oregon, where we draw a caseload from approximately a 4-hour radius.

Our Emergency and Critical Care department has a busy and varied caseload. It is staffed with a rotating group of full-time, part-time, and relief emergency doctors. SOVSC’s collaborative specialist team is made up of 2 surgeons, two internists, and a visiting dermatologist. We also have a highly trained and dedicated support staff to ensure the success of our doctors and practice as a whole which includes a VTS in ECC as well as several experienced LVT’s and assistants. Our hospital culture emphasizes continuous learning, growth, and innovation while maintaining an atmosphere of respect, support, and fun.

SOVSC is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including endoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, and CT. The ICU has multiple oxygen cages, telemetry, ICU ventilators, dedicated Canine and feline ICU areas, dedicated ultrasound machine, invasive and non-invasive blood pressure, and advanced monitoring equipment. We keep blood products on hand and have a canine and feline blood donor program in place for emergencies.
