About our Hospital

Hillsboro Beach Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas

About the Position

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, friendly and motivated candidate to join our Client Service Representative team. In this role you will be the face of the hospital. The CSR team is the first and last person that a client interacts with offering the best impression of what our hospital stands for.

Requirements:

• Ability to work mornings, evening and/or weekends
• Customer/client service experience (preferred)
• Being able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work at a computer for majority of shift (shift length varies)
• Clear communication
• Efficient in multitasking
• Love for animals and the people that love them

Primary responsibilities include:

• Scheduling appointments, surgeries and future appointments
• Using Avimark (PIMs) to document client interaction and conversations
• Communicate effectively with the technician staff and DVM staff on all items related to patient/clients
• Greet clients by phone and in person at the hospital
• Check clients in and complete appointments by checking out and closing invoices
• Making reminder calls
• Responding to messages through multiple hospital platforms
• Triage calls on a case by case basis for best scheduling in partnership with the medical team
• Complete routine daily operating tasks including opening and closing responsibilities (dependant on shift)
• Champion our wellness plans for well pets
• Communicate with local specialty practices and boarding facilities as necessary
• Give lots of treats, compliments and pets to our furry friends that visit us
