North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC ) is looking for casual Veterinarian’s to join our expanding ECC service and help with some of our weekend shifts. You will be joining  our fast-paced, dynamic Emergency and Critical Care team.

We opened a little over a year ago, a beautiful a state of the multi-disciplined Specialist and Emergency Veterinary Hospital on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. NSVSC has a long history spanning back to 1935 with an excellent connection with our local veterinary hospital and the general public. We have an excellent client base that is supportive of providing gold standard care for their pets. Situated on the lower North Shore of Sydney, we are near the beautiful Sydney Harbour and have great access to Sydney Public Transport network (Trains & Buses)
Our new hospital, has 12 consulting rooms, four theatres, designated ultrasound, Chemotherapy, medical procedures room.

Our hospital has :

• Complete in-house laboratory, (Biochemistry and haematology),
• Digital radiology,
• 128 slice CT scanner,
• Fluoroscopy,
• Ventilators,
• Dental radiology,
• Endoscopy and
• Ultrasonography, ECG

The ECC team are supported by the a large group of Specialist Veterinarian with a wealth of experience including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Imaging, Exotic and Small mammals, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology.

The hospital runs regular CE events for referring vets, and clinical rounds every fortnight.

What we’re looking for :
Minimum requirements are one year of experience in a small animal veterinarian hospital. The position will be ideally suited to vet with a background in Emergency that wishes to grow their skill set in a supported environment. A Veterinarian with experience in busy General Practices will also be considered.
