Southpaws boasts one of only three veterinary radiation therapy units in Australia and were the first deep-therapy radiation unit for dogs and cats in Australia. We have full in-house laboratory facilities, comprehensive diagnostic imaging including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a 16 Slice Toshiba CT Aquilion.. Our team is vibrant, friendly and passionate about the services we offer at Southpaws. Our team includes five surgical specialists, two surgical registrars, and a surgical resident, two clinicians dedicated to the treatment of internal medicine and critical care cases and a team of interns, knowledgeable nurses and support staff.
About the Business Manager Position:
An exciting leadership opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced manager to join our team as our new Business Manager. With operational, financial and strategic responsibility, the Business Manager will have a mandate to build on our strong performance to date and take the hospital to the next level. Over the last two years, there has been significant investment in the hospital and an expansion of services. An opportunity now exists to grow the business further, continue fostering our strong culture and delivering outstanding patient care.
Supported by a multidisciplinary team below and reporting to the Partners of SouthPaws, the Business Manager will continue to develop and maintain our values-based, performance-driven culture, drive operational performance across the hospital, actively identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. A key focus of this role will be to drive our team engagement, ensuring we remain connected to our business needs and continue to foster a happy, healthy and thriving culture.
