Overland Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is seeking a progressive, energetic urgent care practitioner to join our growing team in Denver, Colorado (Signing Bonus of $10,000 offered)!

The hours of this position would be a 5/2/5/2 schedule, i.e. working two days one week and five days the next week, alternating weekends. These shifts could be flexible in that you can ask the other full time urgent care practitioner to swap with you when needed. However, you have five days off in a row every 2 weeks. Enjoy Colorado without the crowds during your time off! Some general wellness visits could end up being included in the shift but in general sick/urgent care only.

Our unique business model offers an AAHA- accredited veterinary hospital, upscale pet resort and daycare facility, dog training, and grooming services, in a free-standing 17,000 sq. ft. facility.

Visiting board Certified Surgeon, Cardiologist, Radiologist, for onsite referral and consultation
Multiple nearby referral hospitals for Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Neurology, Behavior and Physical Therapy
Upscale Boarding facility with Medical Boarding
Full time Trainer/Behaviorist
Full time Groomer

Looking for:
– Colorado Licensed and Accredited practitioner with a desire to work urgent care (hours, pace, etc)
– Internship or 3+ years experience in a fast paced progressive medicine / emergency care environment (must be comfortable being a solo doctor for some of the hours)
– Comfort with elective soft tissue surgery a plus but not mandatory – there is opportunity to cut your own surgeries here with mentorship!
– Confident, compassionate and friendly practitioner who likes to have fun at work and contributes to a strong team oriented environment
– Doctor who enjoys client interaction and wants to go the extra mile for their pets
– Desire to expand skills and knowledge
