Midwest Bird & Exotic Animal Hospital, located in a suburb of Chicago, IL, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) interested or with experience in Emergency/Urgent Care to join our team!

We are a 5 doctor, full-service veterinary general practice and emergency facility that is open 24 hours per day and treats a wide array of pets. Exotics are our exclusive specialty by day, but our after-hours emergency practice (7pm-8am) is additionally open for dogs and cats. While we have long been rooted in Elmwood Park, we recently went through a complete remodel of our facilities to further enable our top of the line medicine!

In this role, you would be the Veterinarian responsible for our urgent care hours, which are from 7pm until 8am, three days a week (3 on/4 off, and flexible hours are available!) . New graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported and mentored by our Veterinarians on days, before transitioning to nights.

  • A completely renovated and updated hospital, including a new surgery suite, treatment area and exam rooms to name a few!

What makes someone a good fit?
