About The Hospital

Island Animal Hospital has been well-established in the community for over 30 years. We are a 3-doctor practice that provides progressive and complete medical care for our patients including: wellness and preventative care, general medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, cold laser therapy, and acupuncture.

Qualifications

A successful candidate would be a general practitioner who enjoys client education and possesses strong communication skills. We welcome a doctor who has a desire to continuously learn and grow personally and professionally. We are seeking a doctor who is passionate about providing high-quality medical and surgical care.

The candidate should also possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university and current licensure in good standing to practice in Georgia. Two or more years of experience in veterinary medicine is preferred. An interest in small exotics is a plus, but not required.
