Sun City Animal Hospital is located in beautiful Sun City, Arizona, northwest of Phoenix. We are looking for an experienced, motivated associate veterinarian to join our practice!

We are a close-knit team that focuses on over and above client service and patient care. We pride ourselves in striving to achieve a good work/life balance for all of our employees. We would love to find a candidate that is passionate about exceptional client service and progressive veterinary medicine, including dentistry and surgery. We are always interested in associates that would like to explore or expand upon a new area of interest, such as ultrasound, exotic medicine, rehabilitation, etc. We would love to add someone to our team with fresh ideas, a positive outlook, and most of all, someone ready to have fun and enjoy their work!

About the Hospital:
• We are a 3 doctor practice
• Paper-lite
• Paw Plans (different wellness plans to meet our clients’ and pets’ needs)
• Large treatment area with multiple tables for simultaneous procedures
• Full in-house lab equipment, including IDEXX Catalyst Analyzer (CBC, Chem, TT4, Phenobarb) and IDEXX referral lab
• Digital radiography (IDEXX) with option to submit for radiology consultation
• Dedicated surgical suite with new surgery monitor including EtCO2
• We offer almost any surgical procedure and have full surgical equipment for mass removals, lacerations, abdominal procedures, orthopedic surgery, eye surgery and routine spay/neuter
• CO2 surgical laser
• Wide selection of anesthetic choices including Dexdomitor
• We do a large amount of dental procedures and have a 2 table dental suite with digital dental x-ray (full mouth x-rays performed on all patients)
• Full pharmacy that is very flexible to new doctors’ wishes
• Therapeutic K-Laser
• We believe in multimodal pain control, using products such as Buprenorphine SR and Nocita
• We are located 2 miles from Blue Pearl Emergency Animal Clinic. We also refer to VetMED in the Cave Creek area

Sun City is a retirement community located just northwest of Phoenix and a majority of our clients are retirees, however we draw young clientele from surrounding cities like Peoria, Surprise and Glendale. Therefore, there are young growing communities nearby that offer housing, new schools and shopping amenities. We are in close proximity to the Cardinals Stadium, the Wildlife World Zoo, and Arrowhead Mall, which has a multitude of restaurants nearby to choose from. We are not far from the White Tanks, a mountain range fabulous for hiking, and Lake Pleasant, a popular destination for boating and other water sports! There is a beautiful park nearby connected to miles of hiking and horseback riding trails that some us frequent on our lunch break! We are within a short drive from Phoenix and also Scottsdale, well known for the Phoenix Open golf tournament, the annual Arabian Horse Show and the Barrett-Jackson car show.
