Associate Veterinarian: University Veterinary Hospital & Diagnostic Center is an award winning, AAHA certified, state of the art small animal practice providing exemplary care and customer service since 1992. We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian who is ready to practice high quality medicine, who values forming relationships with patients and clients, and who is excited to be part of a team environment. We offer a generous time off policy and CE stipend, health insurance, 401K, AFLAC, and paid membership dues. Our hospital provides medical, surgical, and dental care with no after-hours emergency.

We are dedicated to providing patient care and client service from the heart and have a spacious, well-equipped facility that includes the following:

Ultrasonography

Digital Radiology

Dentistry Suite with two digital dental radiograph machines

Laboratory Diagnostic Referrals

Full range of IDEXX lab equipment, including Sedivue DX, UA Analyzer, Catalyst DX, ProCyte DX

6 dedicated examination rooms with computer terminals in every room plus a consultation room

Full on-site pharmacy/online pharmacy

Zipwhip texting capability

Surgery Suite

We offer numerous treatments for patients that include:

Wellness exams & vaccines

General surgeries

Orthopedic surgeries (mobile veterinary surgeons)

Internal medicine, ultrasound, endoscopy consultation (mobile veterinary consultants)

Wellness bloodwork panels

Full mouth dental radiographs

Customized pain management and anesthesia plan for each patient

Dedicated anesthetist for every patient

Chemotherapy administration (biological hood)

Surgical and therapeutic laser

Acupuncture
