Oregon Veterinary Specialty Hospital, in Beaverton, Oregon was established in 1979 and continues to be the premier specialty center in Beaverton. We are seeking a Veterinarian Boarded in Internal Medicine or veterinarian who has successfully completed the ACVIM examination and is board eligible. Our doctors are proficient, caring, and compassionate professionals.

Our beautiful state of the art two-story facility was designed by veterinarians to include ample treatment space, room for growth, and second story surgical suites with large windows and natural lighting. We are located just outside Portland, Oregon in the beautiful city of Beaverton. The area offers a multitude of activities for outdoor enthusiasts including hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and skiing. Wind down with an abundance of boutique shopping, artisan markets, craft breweries and vineyards , and farm-to-table dining. The region is filled with historical monuments and cultural attractions allowing as many day-trip adventures as you can imagine! The breathtaking Oregon coastline is less than two hours’ drive, Mt. Hood is approximately an hour away, Seattle and Mount St. Helens are within 3 hours, while downtown Portland is only a few minutes from the hospital. Beaverton is home to cycling-friendly roads and a strong cycling community. We have a robust mass transit system in place including busses and a light rail system that runs to all the surrounding communities. Schedule: Full time, 5 days per week

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience
  • Current licensure in Oregon in good standing
  • DEA licensure preferred
  • Must have a passion for learning and improvement, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach
  • Take pride in offering unmatched diligent care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood
  • Support all other medical personnel, including veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Experience and confidence in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is a must!
