Emergency Pet Care of Texas , located in the heart of Magnolia, TX, (north of Houston) is an excellent 24-hour AAHA Accredited animal emergency facility. We are currently looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team of dedicated emergency clinicians. This would be a great position for either an experienced Veterinarian or a New Grad.

We thrive in supporting all patients through illnesses with services that include IV fluid support, oxygen therapy, critical care monitoring, emergency surgical services, and blood transfusions, to name a few. Our support staff consists of multiple credentialed technicians and specialized VTS’s in emergency & critical care.

    You will be working alongside our clinicians to triage, diagnose, and treat a variety of patients on emergency and urgent basis. With access to a suite of diagnostic tools including digital radiography, teleradiology interpretation, ultrasound services. In addition, we have a full in-house laboratory, including lactate, coagulation testing, blood typing, and blood gas analysis.

    You must meet the minimum requirements of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Active Texas License or ability to acquire one, and DEA License.

    As an Associate Veterinarian you will need to be open to collaborating with experienced clinicians, have excellent communication skills, and be able to explain medical terms and conditions using simplified language. Your experience with health checks, acute and chronic medical cases, as well as traumatic, general, and invasive soft tissue surgery will be greatly valued at the practice.

    Additional consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and have a flexible scheduling including Daytime, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
