Job Summary:

As a Veterinary Professional, you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a talented Veterinarian. Here are some of the key skills and qualifications we are seeking that are relevant to this opportunity:

  • Examine and triage pets to promptly diagnose their short and long term health issues and recommend best treatment
  • Consult directly with clients providing solutions-based care for their pets
  • Ability to perform soft tissue surgery
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with customers, fellow team members and hospital leadership team
  • An adept learner willing to explore new possibilities and accept change
  • You respond to setbacks that we all know happen with positivity and grace

Our Hospital: Park Veterinary Centre has six spacious exam rooms, with private euthanasia room; large surgical suite equipped with gas powered surgical equipment and a second suite for dental with two wet tables, both with built-in computers with network access to imaging. Full complement of anesthetic and monitoring equipment. New main DR digital radiology in radiology suite, and both DR and CR dental digital imaging capabilities. Separate in house ultrasound area, and large treatment and surgical prep areas too. Spacious communal veterinary office with open visibility to treatment area.

Our Area : Park Veterinary Centre in Sherwood Park is located in Strathcona county, directly next door to Edmonton. This area offers a wonderfully unique place to live and provides options for all lifestyles year-round. This is an ideal area to live for those who enjoy a flexible lifestyle with a wide range of options for housing, schools, sports, activities and travel. Only a four-hour drive to Banff/Rocky Mountains and Jasper National Park
