Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Program | Course - Undergraduate/externship
The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences annually admits approximately 148 new students to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program, culminating in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Admission to the veterinary medicine program at Colorado State is open to all students. Hands-on experience, from day one, alongside world-class faculty in an atmosphere designed to help you succeed make the Colorado State University veterinary program unique. Years 1 and 2 include comprehensive biomedical veterinary sciences and veterinary education and hands-on clinical experiences on CSU’s main campus. Years 3 and 4 work side-by-side with exceptional clinicians at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital through a series of specialty rotations. Students are full care team members, not bystanders.
