The 7–8 September will see Scottish Congress return to the world-class conferencing facilities of the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) on the bank of the River Clyde. In 2019 the comprehensive programme features three different lecture streams of hot topics and stimulating, practically relevant CPD with something for everyone. Lectures in particular will look at how the whole veterinary team can work together, with presentations on patient safety in anaesthesia, delegation - what can nurses do?, exotic emergencies, and a talk on how practices can reduce their carbon footprint. The popular practical series returns, with cost-effective, hands-on sessions focusing on skin and ear cytology, anaesthetic machine and breathing systems, and ECC and CPR.
