Event Description

This course will serve as an introduction to non-accidental injury investigation and documentation.

The purpose of the course is to give the student an overview of typical signs and symptoms of injuries sustained deliberately, either through abuse or neglect. Veterinary nurses/technicians with a special interest in the topic are welcome to enrol in this course. Please be aware that the course is designed for qualified veterinarians and you should consider this in light of your knowledge and experience before you register. Please note: The estimated time to complete this course is 15–20 hours, therefore the course will be open for 8 weeks. This course is the second in the three-part animal forensics series. Part 1 and 3 will also be delivered in 2020.
