It was the vision of Dr. Markus Barth to provide high tech, high quality veterinary care with a focus on what really matters to clients and their pets in the Grande Prairie area. Owned and operated by Dr. Markus Barth and his wife Heather Barth, Animals First is the culmination of a dream for Dr. Barth.

Animals First Clinic is an immaculate state of the art facility with 2 examination rooms, a surgical suite, spacious treatment area and a consultation room. The consultation room is also used as a grieving room where clients are given the time and privacy to say goodbye to their pet.

Animals First Clinic also has an In-House laboratory consisting of the IDEXX Laser Cyte™, Catalyst™, Snap Shot Reader™ & Vetstat ™

Animals First Clinic has a state of the art Digital X-Ray

Smart Link™ computer technology allows our Laboratory and Digital X-Ray to communicate with our Cornerstone ™ computer software therefore providing results directly into the clients chart
